RAGS, 2019

Stills showing a timeline of manipulating cotton fabric to represent black parasitic residue, wrapping branches like bandages and igniting. 
I ground charcoal and soot into the fabric. Tearing the fabric into rags and bandaged them round sticks to hang them from trees. Wrapping them round twigs and made a wreath. Engaging with the elements I recorded reflections on water once I set fire to the wreath.
